Standing Calf Raises – Men
Muscles Targeted
This exercise works your calf muscles.
Step 1
Stand on step so that you are positioned on the balls of your feet. Hold on to a chair or machine for support. Lower your heels until you feel a stretch in the calf muscles.
Step 2
Inhale and then exhale as you push up onto your toes as high as possible, keeping your knees straight.
Step 3
Inhale as you slowly return to the starting position.
